Partial or Full PPF: Choosing Your Coverage

Partial PPF covers selected panels or areas. Front coverage focuses on an agreed set of exposed front areas; full wrapping extends over a larger part of the body. Start with where your car receives damage and which surfaces you want to preserve rather than a universal ladder of protection levels.

At BESTAUTO, full clear wrapping starts from 6900 GEL, the Full Lux package from 8600 GEL, with a 1700 GEL upgrade over the base full wrap. Compare offers using their exact panel lists: the same package name does not necessarily mean the same coverage. Current options are on the PPF service page.

Partial, front or full: the coverage difference

No option closes a fixed percentage of all risks. Film works on covered areas and does not guarantee that a strong impact will leave no damage.

How to identify priority areas

Look at where wear develops on your car. Highway use may prompt discussion of the hood, front bumper and adjacent panels. In the city, consider handle areas, sills and the loading zone. The actual list depends on the body and use; price or vehicle age alone does not make one option mandatory.

With a limited budget, agree the surfaces that matter most. Hood-only coverage leaves the bumper exposed; front wrapping leaves uncovered doors and rear panels exposed. Broader coverage increases the protected area, not the strength of protection per square centimetre.

What front and full wrapping include

The current BESTAUTO front option from 2500 GEL includes the hood, front bumper, front fenders, pillars, headlights, mirrors and a strip above the windshield. Other coverage options may have a different scope. Before booking, check the chosen list, covered surface, technical edges and additions.

For full wrapping, agree the exterior panels and the details of your car. Full clear coverage and Full Lux have different scopes: Full Lux additionally includes the windshield and interior trim. Panoramic glass roofs and other additions are considered for the selected offer rather than assumed included in every full package. Standard body PPF is not a universal windshield film. Current price references

These are starting references, not a completed order total. Confirm headlight coverage for the specific vehicle; colour PPF is a separate offer. Check material, model, preparation and coverage before adding individual prices: some areas may already be included in the selected package. Clear protection, matte finish and colour change

Clear PPF preserves the original colour. Clear matte film changes the sheen; confirm the finish and product availability when choosing. Colour PPF combines protection with a new colour, while vinyl primarily changes appearance. Compare these goals on the colour wrapping page and in the materials comparison.

Chrome delete, glass film and interior protection are not successive “levels” of body wrapping. They involve different surfaces, materials and scopes. A position in the price list does not automatically make it part of a full clear body wrap.

What to agree before installation

• Panels and areas, coverage boundaries and potentially visible edges.
• The film series and finish, included work and additional surfaces.
• Paint condition, previous repairs and necessary preparation.
• The final price and vehicle drop-off and collection schedule.
• Warranty terms, the first wash and ongoing care.

BESTAUTO uses LuxArmor PRO, Quantum Rocket Pro and LLumar Platinum. Full Lux is a package; LuxArmor PRO is a material. The 10-year material warranty follows the manufacturer's terms; installation terms are agreed separately. Warranty duration and actual service life do not imply a decade free from every kind of damage.

Recently repainted panels require an assessment of the finish and product conditions; a universal waiting time does not suit every case. The surface is cleaned before installation, while polishing depends on its condition. PPF maintenance is needed with any coverage level. Can I start with the hood and extend coverage later?

Discuss this for the specific car. Agree the material, boundaries of the first stage and condition of the remaining panels; future work is not automatically price-locked.

Are headlights and mirrors always included in front coverage?

The BESTAUTO front option from 2500 GEL includes headlights and mirrors. Confirm the selected option and avoid adding separate charges for areas already included.

Does full wrapping include the windshield and interior?

Full Lux includes the windshield and interior trim; the base full wrap has a different scope. Check the panoramic glass roof and other additions separately before ordering.
