Types of Ceramic Coatings
Body Ceramic Coating
Body ceramic coating adds gloss and makes routine cleaning easier. We select the coating and preparation after inspecting the paint; use PPF for physical stone-chip protection.
Interior ceramic treatment can make seats, panels and trim easier to clean. We select the product for each material and surface condition; spills and dirt still need prompt cleaning.
Anti-rain treatment gives glass a hydrophobic surface, helping water bead and run off for clearer visibility in rain. Results depend on the glass, care and driving conditions; regular cleaning is still needed.

Is polishing needed before ceramic coating?
Polishing corrects swirl marks, dullness and other surface defects; ceramic coating helps maintain the finish and makes care easier. Paint already in good condition may not need extensive correction. We assess the polishing required and its cost during inspection, before work begins.
Which coatings do you use?
We use GYEON for bodywork. The specific product is chosen for the surface and desired result. Glass and interior materials need coatings suited to them, not one universal product for the entire vehicle.
How long does the effect last?
The body coating can last up to 3 years with suitable preparation and care. Durability depends on the specific product and use; this does not promise the same lifespan for glass or interior treatments. Before application we explain the chosen material and care requirements. Regular gentle washing is still necessary.
When can I wash the car, and how should I care for it?
The coating needs time to cure first. At collection, we explain when it can first get wet and when to wash it, according to the product used. After that, gentle washing, compatible products and drying the surface matter: ceramic coating makes care easier, not unnecessary.
Water no longer beads — does the coating need replacing?
Not necessarily: built-up contamination can reduce water repellency. We first check the coating and whether it needs decontamination. An inspection will show whether maintenance or a fresh application is appropriate.
Does ceramic coating protect from chips and scratches like PPF?
Ceramic coating is for gloss, water repellency and easier washing. PPF is used for physical protection from stones and chips. A coating does not correct existing scratches or protect against improper washing.
Which interior surfaces can be coated?
Suitability depends on the trim material and its condition. We identify the appropriate surfaces and preparation, then choose a protective product. Coating makes future care easier but does not replace cleaning or restoration of damaged materials.
What does a rain-repellent glass coating do?
It helps water move off the glass and makes dirt easier to remove. Performance depends on the product, glass condition and use. Wipers and regular glass cleaning are still needed.
How long will you need the car?
The job includes preparation, application and curing. Timing depends on the vehicle’s condition and treatment areas. At booking, we agree the drop-off time and an estimated completion time.
