There is more to the result than the shade. Body preparation, attention to edges and a final inspection are all part of the process.

Five stages of a colour change

  1. Inspection and selection

    We assess the body and agree the film, shade, coverage and price.

  2. Body preparation

    Wash and clean the body. Removal of old film, polishing and additional preparation are agreed after inspection.

  3. Cutting and installation

    We prepare the film for each panel, apply it and work carefully around the edges.

  4. Checking the finish

    We inspect the film’s fit and the installation under dedicated lighting.

  5. Collection and care

    We show you the result and explain how to care for the chosen film.

What to know before wrapping

Should I choose coloured PPF or vinyl?

Coloured PPF combines a colour change with protection from road grit and small stones. It is our first choice when both appearance and paint protection matter. Vinyl is a decorative alternative for changing the colour and finish; it does not replace PPF stone-chip protection.

Which scratches can PPF self-heal?

Heat helps light surface scratches in the top layer of LuxArmor coloured PPF self-heal, keeping the surface looking tidy for longer. This effect does not repair deep cuts, punctured film or damaged paint.

How do I choose the colour and finish?

Choose the shade and finish you want: gloss, satin, matte or metallic. A screen cannot show the exact colour. We will check film availability and whether you can view a sample at Saburtalo or Guramishvili before your visit.

What does a full wrap include?

Before work starts, we agree which panels and edges will be wrapped and what the price includes. During inspection, we check whether door openings, dismantling or additional preparation are needed. The final price depends on the car, material and scope; listed prices are starting points.

Can you wrap a repainted car or one with stone chips?

The paintwork needs to be assessed first. Film does not replace repairs or remove defects underneath. Tell us about repainted panels and damage so we can discuss suitability, preparation and risks before work starts.

How long does a colour change take?

Timing depends on the car, film, preparation and coverage. Before booking, the studio will agree the drop-off time and an estimated completion time with you.

How do I care for the film?

Use gentle washing and products compatible with the selected film and finish. At collection, we explain when the first wash is allowed and how to care for the car afterwards. Gloss and matte surfaces may need different care.

Can the film be removed later?

Removal is best left to a specialist. The result depends on the paint condition, material, time in use and removal method. Repainted panels deserve particular attention before installation: risk-free removal cannot be promised for every surface.

How long does coloured film last?

Coloured PPF is designed for long-term paint protection. Actual service life depends on the material, installation, use and care. LuxArmor coloured PPF comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on the material.

What warranty applies to colour-change wrapping?

LuxArmor coloured PPF comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. BESTAUTO is an official LuxArmor dealer and supports warranty claims. Before installation, we explain what is covered and how to follow the warranty conditions. Terms for other materials and installation work are agreed separately.

What if I want to keep the current colour?

Clear PPF is a separate service for protection without a colour change. Visit its page or message your preferred studio, and we will help choose the areas to protect.
