A pressure washer can rinse away loose dirt and cleaning products. The bar rating on the machine does not define a safe setup for every car. The nozzle, working mode, distance, paint condition and film or coating requirements all matter.
There is no pressure range that guarantees safety for every vehicle and every PPF. Start with the instructions for your model: is car washing allowed, which mode and nozzle are intended for it, and what restrictions apply to sensitive surfaces? For wrapped panels, also read the instructions for the film actually installed.
For example, the Kärcher K5 Power Control manual requires at least 30 cm from painted surfaces and prohibits the dirt blaster on paint, tyres and sensitive materials. These are requirements for that machine. Follow any greater distance or other restrictions required by the finish. If the equipment and surface requirements cannot be met together, do not use that washer on the panel.

Do not move closer to remove a stubborn spot or keep the jet on a damaged area. Avoid open gaps, electrical connectors and material edges. Different film instructions specify combinations of angle, nozzle and distance; there is no single optimal angle for all of them.
On PPF, edges and already lifted areas need particular care. Confirm the first-wash timing with the installer and the material instructions. A general rule such as “ten days have passed” does not justify using any pressure setting.
A ceramic coating does not make paint or damaged trim immune to a jet. Use compatible cleaners and proper drying. Home washing is possible when the relevant instructions and conditions can be followed. If the material is unknown, paint is peeling or a film edge is lifted, stop and agree a cleaning method first.

If film edges are lifting, paint is peeling or marks appear after washing, stop treating that area. An inspection can establish whether it needs cleaning, repair or replacement. A bubble alone does not establish a peeling timeline or a replacement price.
Do not use the general bodywork procedure for an engine bay. Its requirements depend on the vehicle and electrical equipment. BESTAUTO engine-bay washing is a separate service at 80 ₾; agree the work with the studio beforehand.
