How to reach BESTAUTO in Tbilisi: two studios and easy routes

Two stationary studios — on Guramishvili Avenue and Politkovskaya Street. Why detailing only works in a bay, how to reach us from any part of the city, and how long a car stays with us.

BESTAUTO in Tbilisi works on a stationary model. We have two physical studios on opposite sides of the city, both with fully equipped detailing bays. We do not do mobile service, do not work at the client's parking, do not pitch portable tents in courtyards. The reason is technical: quality detailing needs climate control, professional equipment and a controlled environment without dust or temperature swings. The street or a client's garage cannot reproduce those. Below — where both studios are, how to reach them from any direction in Tbilisi, how long typical jobs take, and why a stationary format is a plus for the client, not a minus.

Two BESTAUTO studios — where they are and what they look like

Both studios are full detailing bays with climate control, not extensions of car washes or "a corner at a service shop". Each handles 2–3 cars in one bay simultaneously, with separate posts for different procedures (polishing / ceramic / PPF / interior cleaning).

BESTAUTO Guramishvili — Guramishvili Ave. 78.

Northern Tbilisi, on one of the main arteries running toward the airport and the Mtskheta highway. A 3-post bay, climate control (split AC in summer, heat guns and infrared in winter), separate zones for polishing and PPF. Yard parking — 4–6 cars at once, plus the option to leave a car for the day. Studio phone: +995 550 000 299.

BESTAUTO Politkovskaya — Anna Politkovskaya St. 51.

Southern Tbilisi, near the exit toward Rustavi and the M1 highway to Gori. Same kind of climate-controlled bay, same equipment list, same team standard between studios. Yard parking 3–5 cars. Studio phone: +995 550 000 199.

Both run the same schedule: Monday–Saturday, 10:00–20:00. Sunday — closed. Phones answer all working day; you can book a specific time slot or just confirm the day.

You can book either of the two — usually picked by route convenience: from the north-west of the city Guramishvili is closer, from the east and south Politkovskaya. Pricing, equipment and team — identical at both.

Why mobile detailing is not possible

Sometimes clients ask about visiting them at home or office. We say plainly: detailing procedures cannot be done well that way. A breakdown.

Body polishing. Needs flat directional LED lighting, no direct sunlight on glass and panels (sun creates glare that hides micro-scratches), 18–28 °C ambient (above — compound dries on the panel, holograms appear; below — compound underperforms). Outside or in a client's garage none of these can be guaranteed.

Ceramic coating. Curing wants controlled humidity (40–60 %), stable 20–25 °C, and a dust-free environment for 4–8 hours after application. Open space, a concrete-floor garage or a courtyard parking spot — guaranteed flaw. Coating either does not bond, or sets with streaks and pinholes.

PPF film. Installation runs with a slip solution and needs squeegee work over compound curves. Any speck of dust under the film is visible against the light for the rest of the film's life. Outside, hundreds of dust particles accumulate in an hour. In a studio — filtered air zone, no specks.

Interior cleaning. Wants pressurised water (extractor), compressed air, a 150 °C steam generator and 4–10 hours of controlled drying. None of that exists at home. "Mobile interior cleaning" with a portable vacuum and a cloth is not detailing, it is tidying.

Glass repair. The injector works at 18–25 °C with no direct sun on the glass. The UV lamp wants a wall socket, not a car battery. Curing is a precise time process that cannot be sped up or slowed down.

So we choose quality: studio only, with proper equipment, in a controlled environment. That means the client comes to us, not the other way around. In return — results that hold for years, not months.

How to reach us: landmarks and easy routes

Tbilisi is a compact city with convenient driving geography. Our two studios sit roughly 12–15 km apart in a straight line, and one of them will be within a reasonable distance from any point in the city.

From the old centre, Rustaveli Avenue, Avlabari metro side.

Easier to head to Politkovskaya — it is south of the centre, exit via Ketevan Tsamebuli St. or via Kakheti Highway. From the centre — 15–25 minutes in normal traffic, up to 40 in rush hour.

From Chavchavadze Avenue or Melikishvili Street side.

Either studio is roughly equally accessible. Guramishvili is north (via Tsinandali St.), Politkovskaya is south (via Heroes Square and Kakheti Highway). The pick is usually whichever is easier to reach during your morning rush hour.

From Samgori, Isani, Varketili metro side.

Easier to Politkovskaya — closer on the eastern direction. From Samgori — about 10–15 minutes in normal traffic.

From Leselidze St., Freedom Square, Baratashvili St. side.

Guramishvili is more accessible via the northern streets. From Freedom Square — about 20–30 minutes.

From the airport approach or the Rustavi highway side.

Politkovskaya is on the airport-to-city route, easy to drop in right after landing or before leaving. From the airport — 15–20 minutes. Guramishvili is on the Mtskheta-highway side, easy to call in before a longer trip out of town.

In Google Maps and Yandex both studios are listed under their full addresses: "BESTAUTO Guramishvili 78" and "BESTAUTO Politkovskaya 51". Routing takes 5 seconds and the navigators get it right.

Distance and travel time are always estimates in Tbilisi. Morning jams 8:30–10:00 and evening 17:30–19:30 can multiply travel by 1.5–2x. With a flexible schedule, target 11:00–16:00 visits when traffic is moderate.

Parking at the studios

Parking is a frequent first-visit question.

At Guramishvili. The studio yard fits 4–6 cars at once (in-bay plus waiting). On the street around — usual city parking, free in most segments or paid via the Tbilisi Parking app. If you came for 5 minutes to drop the car off — park in the yard, no problem. If you leave the car for the full day — it goes into our bay, your own parking is not needed.

At Politkovskaya. Same — 3–5 yard spots plus city parking around. Street parking is paid weekdays 9:00–19:00 (app or kiosk), free on weekends.

If you came to pick up after work — park nearby, walk in, take the keys and drive off. Standard pickup is 5–10 minutes.

If you came to drop off — drive into the studio yard, we receive the car, fill out the work order, hand you the technician's contact for status during the work. Then you are free to go.

How long the car stays — work durations

Time depends on the service. Averaged values for planning:

2-phase or 3-phase wash. 30–60 minutes. Done while you wait, lounge area has water and coffee.

Glass chip repair. 30–60 minutes. Wait-while-you-wait is fine.

Body polishing. 4–8 hours. Best to drop off in the morning, pick up in the evening.

Ceramic coating. 6–10 hours of application + 24 hours of in-bay curing. Car leaves the day after the visit.

Hood-only PPF. 4–6 hours of work + 12 hours of film "rest" (technically same-day evening pickup, ideally next morning).

Full front group PPF (hood + bumper + fenders + headlights). 8–12 hours work + 24–48 hours curing. Car stays 2 days.

Interior cleaning. 4–6 hours work + 1–2 days drying in the climate bay. 1–2 days total.

Window tinting (all windows). 3–5 hours work + 5 days "do not roll the windows" (film must fully dry). You can drive away after the studio visit, just keep the windows up for a week.

Cabin ozone. 30–60 minutes after cleaning or as a standalone procedure.

For long jobs (polishing, ceramic, film) we agree on start and handover times in advance, no surprises. Flexible schedule — leave overnight, pick up a rested car. Tight schedule — we work to fit windows between other bookings, but flag this in advance.

What to do while the car is in the bay

Most common Tbilisi client patterns:

Half-day in the bay (4–6 hours). Most arrive by taxi or Bolt, drop off, run errands or head home. When ready — we call, client returns and picks up.

Full day (8–12 hours). Same pattern — leave in the morning, WhatsApp updates during the day, evening pickup.

Multi-day (ceramic, PPF, interior cleaning). Often planned around periods when the car is not needed — vacation, business trip, weekends. The car stays in our covered bay, secure.

The studios have a waiting area with water, coffee, Wi-Fi. On quick procedures (wash, chip repair, headlight polish) clients often stay and watch the work — that is fine, the technician does not mind.

FAQ

Can I have a technician come to my home for polishing or ceramic application?

No. Polishing and ceramic need controlled temperature, humidity and dust-free conditions — a parking lot, courtyard or client garage cannot deliver those. Any "mobile polishing" attempt produces holograms and a poor outcome, and ceramic outdoors will not cure properly. So we stay studio-only. The trade-off is real quality that holds for years.

Which studio should I pick — Guramishvili or Politkovskaya?

Pricing, equipment, technicians, work standards — identical. Choose by logistics: which is closer to you or easier on your route from work. Northern Tbilisi residents — usually Guramishvili. Southern or eastern — Politkovskaya. For long processes (PPF over 2 days), some pick the studio nearer to the workplace so dropping in for status is easier.

How long does a wash with extra procedures take?

Base 2-phase wash — 30 minutes (40 ₾ sedan, 45 ₾ SUV). 3-phase with wax — 60 minutes (55 ₾ sedan, 59 ₾ SUV). Wash + headlight polish + chip repair in one visit — 2–3 hours total, comfortable to wait in the lounge.

Is it safe to leave the car for 1–2 days at the studio?

Yes. Studios only operate with technicians on site; after closing, cars move to a locked covered bay with video surveillance. No client has ever reported issues with the car or its contents during BESTAUTO's history. For multi-day work we recommend taking valuables out of the cabin — standard practice at any service.

How do I book in advance?

By phone — +995 550 000 299 (Guramishvili) or +995 550 000 199 (Politkovskaya). Or via the form on any service page on the site — we see requests within an hour during work hours and call back to agree on time. For large procedures (PPF, ceramic) booking a week in advance is wise — schedules are tight, especially on weekends.

Conclusion

BESTAUTO in Tbilisi runs a stationary model through two studios — Guramishvili Ave. 78 and Anna Politkovskaya St. 51. We deliberately do not do mobile work: quality detailing needs climate control, professional equipment and a dust-free controlled environment. Those exist only in a bay, so it is easier for the client to come to us once than to get a poor result at home.

The city is compact — 12–15 km between studios, and one of them sits within reasonable reach from any point in Tbilisi, Georgia. Routing to either studio takes 5 seconds in Google Maps with the full address. Yard parking at both is free; if you leave the car for work — it moves into our bay, no personal parking needed.

Time-wise: quick procedures (wash, chip repair) — 30–60 minutes with a comfortable wait. Polishing and combined work — a day. PPF and ceramic — 1–2 days with curing. All times agreed in advance so you have a clear plan.
