Great service, brand-new equipment and a great location. I had my car washed — everything quick and precise. The reception area deserves a separate mention: lots of space, good coffee and massage chairs.
How often you wash a car in Tbilisi depends on driving, parking and what is actually on the surface. Two cars in the same neighbourhood can need different care: one stays in a garage, while the other passes a building site every day. The season helps you decide what to check; it does not prescribe a fixed number of washes.
The tar, tree sap and bug residue guide explains how to describe a mark on paint or film, choose compatible cleaning and assess what remains afterwards.
Choose an interval for your actual use
Inspect the body, windows, wheels and cabin after a typical week. Light dust, stuck mud and insect remains are different cleaning tasks. Do not test the dirt by rubbing a dry panel.
For planning, start by inspecting the car weekly and after highway journeys or muddy routes. Adjust washing itself to its actual condition. Note the dates of a few actual washes, where you parked and any trips out of town. Frequency cannot compensate for unsuitable products, dirty accessories or careless drying.
What to check as conditions change
These are examples of conditions, not a timetable for paint damage. Dust is not limited to summer, and rain marks are not limited to autumn. A new calendar month alone does not call for a different programme.
| Conditions | What to check |
|---|---|
| Summer: heat, dust and highway driving | Look for insects on the front and dust on the body. Avoid dry wiping; wash a cool surface in suitable conditions. |
| Autumn: rain and parking under trees | Check for stuck leaves, sap and marks left as water dries. Rain does not replace proper cleaning. |
| Winter: muddy roads or roads treated against ice | Consider dirt around the wheel arches and lower body. Agree a suitable cleaning scope for the vehicle and the service conditions. |
| Spring: pollen and plant debris | Assess the actual film and choose compatible cleaning. Pollen dates vary between years and locations. |
If you have driven on a road treated against ice, mention it when booking. Agree suitable cleaning of affected areas according to the vehicle's instructions.
When a spot should not wait for the next full wash
Remove bird droppings, sap and insect remains with a suitable method without waiting for a scheduled visit. If gentle cleaning does not work, do not scrape or rub harder; check which treatment is compatible.
For example, the Tesla Model 3 manual advises treating these contaminants before the next full wash and taking road salt into account where it has been used. This is an example for a particular model; your vehicle's product restrictions may differ.
After a long journey, inspect the front, wheel arches and body. Look for insects, mud, sap and other deposits to decide which cleaning is needed. Local spot cleaning and a complete body-and-cabin wash have different scopes; agree what is needed in advance.
Washing frequency with ceramic coating or PPF
A coating does not remove the need for cleaning, nor does it set the same schedule for every car. Consider the installed system, its condition and its care instructions. Follow your installer's first-wash restrictions after fresh film or ceramic application.
Compatibility involves more than pH: intended use, dilution, contact time and the coating's requirements matter. Preserve the appearance of matte film and protect PPF edges. See the ceramic and PPF care guide for product choice and the ceramic maintenance-wash guide for routine steps.
Different water beads or a remaining mark do not prove the coating has been removed or that polishing is necessary. Assess the contamination and a suitable treatment first. Do not choose abrasive work by the calendar alone.
Choose a BESTAUTO wash in Tbilisi
A two-phase wash with routine interior cleaning costs 55 ₾ and takes about 1.5 hours. A three-phase wash with the interior costs 65 ₾ and takes 2–2.5 hours; it adds Fast Quartz. Prices apply to every vehicle type. Check the scope on the wash service page and in the two- versus three-phase comparison.
The third phase does not promise a universal interval before the next wash or replace dirt removal. Engine-bay washing at 80 ₾ is separate. Do not assume lower-body cleaning or other additional tasks are included in every package.
All services are available at both studios: Saburtalo and Guramishvili. Before visiting, mention fresh coatings, a muddy route and difficult spots. Use the wash service contacts to choose a studio and agree a programme and available time. In winter, suitable washing and drying conditions without water freezing also matter.
FAQ
Does every car need washing twice a week in summer?
No. Frequency depends on dirt, driving and parking. Do not apply one schedule to all vehicles.
Is a full wash always required after rain?
Check what remains on the body. Rain does not remove every contaminant, but rain alone does not determine the next visit's scope.
Can a ceramic-coated car be washed less often?
Choose care for its actual condition and the installed system's requirements. A coating does not remove the need to deal with individual deposits promptly.
How much time should I allow for a visit?
Allow about 1.5 hours for two-phase washing with the interior and 2–2.5 hours for three-phase washing. Agree additional tasks and an available time with the studio.
